Hey everyone!
Welcome to another DIY project from my Christmas series!
If you have young children in your family and want to give them something more personal and unique than the average teddybear, this might be just what you were looking for.
While it is usally rather difficult to get handmade stuffed animals actually look cute - the hardest part ist always the face! Mess it up and your kid will have to play with the Hunchback of Notre Dame instead of Winnie the Pooh this year - you can hardly go wrong with this little robot.
The face is easy peasy since it's all eyes and the rest are simple squares. No chance to mess up the shape! It does take a while though to sew it, so I recommend a comfortable seat on the couch and a good movie for this project.
You will need:
grey felt fabric
red felt fabric
grey thread and a needle
two buttons
polyester filling
Cut out grey squares:

6 X 8x8cm (head)
6 X 9,5x9,5cm (body)
24 X 3,5x3,5cm (hands and feet)
Cut out a little red heart
Now simply sew together your cubes, filling them with polyester filling as you go. For the body, stitch on the heart before you start sewing together the pieces, same for the eyes. When you're done, just sew the hands and feet in place.

...und herzlich willkommen zu einem weiteren Diy Tutorial in meiner Weihnachtsserie!
Dieser kleine Roboter mit Herz ist eine süße Alternative zu all den langweiligen gekauften Teddybären und ist auch etwas für diejenigen unter euch, die schon gefühlte 3.000 angefangene selbstgemachte Teddybären in die Tonne getreten haben, weil sie irgendwie am Ende aussahen wie der Glöckner von Notre Dame (nicht, dass ich damit irgendwelche Erfahrungen gemacht hätte *hüstel* ). ;)
Bei einer Würfelform und einem Gesicht, was nur aus Augen besteht, kann tatsächlich nicht viel schief gehen.
Ihr braucht:
grauen Filz
roten Filz
grauen Faden und eine Nähnadel
zwei Knöpfe
Füllmaterial für Teddybären (meins habe ich von Karstadt aus der Kurzwarenabteilung, sonst gibt es sowas auch in Bastelläden)
Schneidet aus dem grauen Filz Quadrate in folgenden Größen aus:
6 X 8x8cm (Kopf)
6 X 9,5x9,5cm (Körper)
24 X 3,5x3,5cm (Hände und Füße)
Schneidet aus dem roten Filz ein kleines Herz aus.

Nun müsst ihr nur noch die einzelnen Würfel zusammen nähen. Dabei ist es am einfachsten, wenn ihr zuerst das Herz und die Augen aufnäht.
Bevor ihr die Würfel schließt, stopft ihr sie mit dem Füllmaterial aus. Zum Schluss näht ihr noch Hände und Füße an.

Nehmt euch etwas Zeit für das nähen. Es sind doch einige Nähte. Ich habe meinen Roboter während eines Spielfilms fertig bekommen.
